![]() Wednesday, July 23, 2003 Pulcher Sentio has moved! You can now find it at http://pulchersentio.prwdot.org. This shall be the last post on the Blogger version, so update your links.
Rolled today. Just squeaked past 100 both games, thanks as usual to the excellent condition of the alleys at Deerfield, not to mention my general lack of ability. Valk, after a rocky start of 98 on his first game rolled a fantastic 195, for a pb. Beh brought Emily along, again. Tonight was the night to find out if she liked bowling and Monty Python, so we rolled (she has her own shoes but didn't have time to get them), and then we watched Holy Grail in the hot tub. She laughed. So, naturally B was in heaven. Apparently the two of them are an item as of during/after the movie, so props to him. In the meantime, I'm now the only lone wolf among the regulars here at Chez Farnham, so I may have to step things up a notch to pick up the slack. Right. Kind of in that department, I've been invited to play the fourth to Matt and Emily's third wheel, Michelle, when they go clubbing this coming Friday, so I may take them up on it.
Tuesday, July 22, 2003 So, this plan for self-enrichment described earlier really isn't working all that well. Me and my stupid socializing. I think I'm going to change it to doing at least one of those three things, rather than all of them.
Sunday, July 20, 2003 So, I'm trying this new thing that I hope I can stick with, even once next semester starts. Every day, at some point, going to post to the blog at least once, read something for the heck of it for at least half an hour, and write for at least fifteen minutes. Once I write something, day one will have gone quite well.
Laid out for about an hour this afternoon. Doubt it did much good. Guess we'll see.
Tonight we had what may or may not have been a record number of people in the hot tub at once: Nine. The ratios were pretty good, too. 4 guys, 5 girls. There were other folks around that didn't join us for the tub-and-a-movie. On the whole, probably the most successful get-together Chez Farnham has seen in quite a while. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and very few people found other things to do. Props to Behrensmeyer for the new lady-friend, Emily. May we all stumble upon a purse someday.
